Intellectual Property Management
Intellectual Property Management Plan
In order to protect R&D resources, maintain innovation momentum, strengthen competitive strength, increase corporate profits, achieve operational goals and ensure sustainable operations, the Company continues to promote the intellectual property management. The Company values the operation of intellectual property greatly and appoints the personnel dedicated to intellectual property management. Whenever the R&D team proposes a new technical idea or inspiration, upon preliminary experiments and trial production to confirm the feasibility of such idea or inspiration, the personnel responsible for intellectual property will investigate the technology overview through patent search and confirm the two major indicators, namely Freedom to Operate (the technology does not involve any mine patent, and there is no risk over working the same) and Patentability (no previous discovery is available to the technology, and the probability that the patent application is approved is high).
The “R&D Cycle – Acquisition, Maintenance and Application of Intellectual Property” established by the Company expressly formulates the related procedures to ensure that the Company has sought sufficient information and preparation for intellectual property management as following:
- Patent application procedure
- Patent search procedure
- Patent technology review procedure
